Notation

• returns the max value of \(x\) for which \(f(x)\) is maximum $$ x_x(f(x)) $$
• returns the max value of \(F\) for which \(g(F(x))\) is maximum. $$ \argmax_F(g(F)) = \argmax_F(g(F(x))) $$
